Fusion by Helix
Fusion by Helix is an advanced skin resurfacing treatment that combines fractional ablative CO₂ laser technology with non-ablative 1570nm laser energy to address various skin concerns effectively. This innovative approach allows for deeper collagen stimulation and comprehensive skin rejuvenation, targeting both the surface and deeper layers of the skin for optimal results.
Key Features:
-
Dual Wavelength Technology: Fusion by Helix utilizes a 10,600nm CO₂ laser for ablative resurfacing and a 1570nm non-ablative laser for deeper tissue remodeling. This combination enables precise treatment customization based on individual skin types and conditions.
-
Versatile Treatment Modes: The system offers various scanning patterns, modes, shapes, and sizes up to 20mm x 20mm, allowing practitioners to tailor treatments to specific areas and concerns. The innovative "spray" mode minimizes pattern overlap while maximizing treatment speed.
-
Advanced Pulse Control: Helix incorporates DEKA's exclusive Pulse Shape Design (PSD™), providing full control over CO₂ duration, energy, and pulse shapes, including Deka-Pulse and H-Pulse. This flexibility supports a full range of CO₂ ablative treatments, from superficial to deep resurfacing.
Benefits:
-
Customized Treatments: The ability to combine ablative and non-ablative energies in sequential or alternative mixed modes allows for personalized treatment plans that address specific skin concerns, such as wrinkles, scars, and pigmentation issues.
-
Reduced Downtime: By adjusting the balance between ablative and non-ablative energies, Fusion by Helix can minimize healing time, making it suitable for patients seeking effective results with less downtime.
-
Comprehensive Skin Rejuvenation: The dual-action approach targets both the epidermis and dermis, promoting collagen production and improving skin texture, tone, and elasticity.

REFINE YOUR SKIN
Each HELIX modality works to remove skin irregularities and damaged tissue so that new, healthy skin can grow. CoolPeel™ targets hyperpigmentation and scarring to gently resurface the skin, with minimal damage to the surrounding skin. Sultra works to increase collagen production by gently breaking down tissue, revealing more plump, youthful skin.
STIMULATE COLLAGEN
The best way to increase skin health is by prompting your skin’s natural healing process and collagen production. All three modalities induce collagen production, improving elasticity and natural hydration. The fractional lasers work to refine the skin with as little damage as possible, allowing for a quicker recovery period and skin cycling — unlike other fractional lasers.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR CARE
FUSION allows your specialist greater control, minimizing discomfort and maximizing efficiency. By combining ablative (advanced resurfacing) and non-ablative (collagen stimulation) techniques, you can personalize treatment for each area of your skin, targeting more severe problem areas and gently refining others with a press of a button.
FAQ?
How Many HELIX Sessions Will I Need To See Results?
Results will vary depending on the severity of your concerns, your natural healing process, and the areas treated. Some patients see HELIX results after just one treatment, but it may be recommended that you undergo multiple sessions to see optimum results.
Since HELIX produces collagen, full results can take several weeks or months to become fully visible. Once optimum results are achieved, it is recommended to maintain treatments once per year.
How Long Is Recovery Time?
-
Unlike other laser resurfacing devices, HELIX offers a much quicker recovery. You will experience some redness immediately after, and a sensation of heating. This will dissipate within a few hours.
-
As your skin heals, you may notice some tiny dry patches or superficial scaling, which will subside quickly. This is evidence of the resurfacing aspect, as the old, damaged skin is being removed to allow more youthful skin to grow. Most patients do not need time off work after HELIX. However, if you require deeper treatments you may necessitate some downtime.
Can you treat Actinic Keratosis?
-
Yes, we can treat sebaceous hyperplasia. Depending on the size, number, and location of the lesions, we offer various treatments to address this condition. Sebaceous hyperplasia, which appears as small, raised bumps caused by overactive sebaceous glands, can often be treated effectively using advanced methods such as laser therapy or other non-invasive techniques.
Can You Treat Keratosis Pilaris (KP)?
-
Yes, we can help improve the appearance of keratosis pilaris (KP). While KP is a harmless skin condition characterized by small, rough bumps often found on the arms, thighs, or cheeks, we offer treatments to smooth the skin and reduce redness.
Can You Treat Sebaceous Hyperplasia?
-
Yes, we can address actinic keratosis (AK). Actinic keratosis, often caused by prolonged sun exposure, appears as rough, scaly patches on the skin and can sometimes progress to more serious conditions if left untreated.
